“FUCK OFF!” Gets the Video Treatment

The first of the two releases, “FUCK OFF!”, comes with a new official music video that matches the track’s confrontational attitude.

Built around frustration with fake relationships, empty gestures and people who have overstayed their welcome, the song isn’t interested in carefully navigating its message. Sometimes you’re simply done—and Cartel Cyco isn’t particularly concerned with finding a polite way to say it.

That same mentality carries into the video.

Rather than wrapping the song in a scripted storyline or elaborate concept, Cartel Cyco keeps the focus squarely on the music and the band performing it. It’s deliberately straightforward: no fictional narrative competing with the track, no attempt to soften its edges and no unnecessary distractions.

That simplicity works with the song. “FUCK OFF!” is built around aggressive thrash riffs, hardcore rhythms and crossover attitude, and the performance-driven video lets that energy do most of the talking.

There’s also something fitting about an independent band from Cartago, Colombia introducing itself to a wider audience this way. The video isn’t trying to manufacture an image around Cartel Cyco—the band’s identity comes through the performance itself: loud, aggressive, unapologetic and rooted in the underground scene that produced it.

For a song whose basic premise is rejecting fakery, a no-frills performance video feels like exactly the right approach.

New Music

Alongside the video, Cartel Cyco has released another new single,

“NOTHING’S GONNA FUCKING STOP US NOW!”

This time, the band’s aggression is pointed toward perseverance.

The song draws from the realities faced by independent musicians trying to build something from a local scene: finding places to play, getting their music heard and continuing to create without compromising their identity.

It’s also a particularly DIY release. Cartel Cyco says the track was recorded, mixed and mastered entirely by the band in its own home studio.

Blending thrash riffs, hardcore attitude and crossover energy, the track is intended as a rallying cry for continuing forward regardless of who’s paying attention.

Both releases are part of the road toward Cartel Cyco’s first album, SOY DE ESTE PUEBLO, which the band says will bring together the experiences and identity of a group that emerged from Cartago, Colombia.

For a band preaching independence and refusing to wait for permission, producing its own music and pushing it beyond its local scene seems like an appropriate place to start.
