Geoff Tate brings Operation: Mindcrime – The Final Chapter to Aura in Portland, Maine, on Thursday, November 12, 2026.

The former Queensrÿche vocalist returns to one of progressive metal’s most celebrated concept albums, revisiting the music and story of the band’s 1988 classic Operation: Mindcrime.

Featuring songs including “Revolution Calling,” “Breaking the Silence,” “I Don’t Believe in Love” and “Eyes of a Stranger,” Operation: Mindcrime remains the album most closely associated with Tate’s Queensrÿche years.

With The Final Chapter marking a farewell to this chapter of Tate’s career, the Portland date offers New England fans another chance to hear the Mindcrime material performed by the voice behind the original album.

Aura — Portland, ME

Saw Tate years ago when still with Queensryche and it was clear that the band wasn’t getting along. Show kinda sucked. Saw him years later with Avantasia (a review I know I wrote but is totally gone) and he was so good!
